July 19th, 2007 9:02 am
Volvo C70 convertible buyers will have the choice of a 2.0-litre turbodiesel engine from this autumn.
The 136bhp 2.0-litre diesel engine is already available in the Volvo S40, V50 estate and the C30.
In the C70, it can send the car from 0-62mph in 11 seconds and on to a top speed of 127mph.
Average fuel economy is 46.3mpg and emissions are 161g/km, putting it in the £140 tax band.
It will sit alongside five-cylinder 2.4- and 2.5-litre turbocharged petrol engines and a 2.4-litre diesel in the range.
Prices for the C70 2.0D S will start at £26,000.
