Alright today is hippy day, also known as April 22nd or Earth Day. In honor of Earth Day it’s time for everyone to go out and plant a tree or get rid of those energy wasting incandescent light bulbs. Checkout this Greenpeace demonstration to get their point across that incandescent is an EVIL energy waster!

Ten thousand incandescent bulbs crushed……..what a f&*(ing waste! I’m all for saving the planet, but how much are they wasting here? Not to mention the factories that built all these bulbs. How about spreading the word to switch to the more energy efficient types AFTER your current bulb burns out? Now you’re not wasting anything and if you want to go a step farther you could donate those dead bulbs to the circus for those crazy glass eaters.

Instead how about we all try and find a biodiesel retailer and fill up on good ol’ bio? Help support farmers and cut down on the greenhouse gasses produced. Or try and support the National Biodiesel Board with the potential IRS threat to the biodiesel industry being proposed.

Remember the special Earth Day episode of Pimp My Ride where they will be pimping out an Impala with an 800hp Lamborghini killing Duramax, and a special guest appearance by the Guvernator himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

So do something, even if it’s just finally getting around to fixing that busted sprinkler head on your sprinkler system that’s just wasting water.
