ZEXT Releases New Pro Street Diesel Nitrous System
New nitrous system instantly delivers massive diesel horsepower gains
A highly modified diesel-powered street truck is an impressive machine. With massive torque and tons of turbocharger boost on tap, acceleration can be phenomenal. But the large amounts of diesel fuel needed to feed this much power can often times lead to high exhaust gas temperatures and incomplete combustion - both of which can limit performance potential, engine safety and horsepower.

Obviously this isn’t meant for the States, but it’s still sweet. I’ll just be happy when we at least get the 335d.

From MSNBC
Volvo launched an agreed SKr7.5bn ($1.1bn) tender offer for Nissan Diesel on Tuesday to acquire the rest of the Japanese truck maker, in which it already owns a 19 per cent stake.
The Swedish group, which last September bought SKr3.5bn worth of convertible shares in Nissan Diesel that would raise its stake to 46.5 per cent by 2014, is offering Y540 a share, or a 22 per cent premium to Nissan Diesel’s closing price of Y443 on Monday.
The bid answers many of the criticisms aimed at Volvo by activist investors, who have accused the company of holding on to too much cash, and forms part of an aggressive expansion plan.

So this season I guess I have to watch American Idol. One of my best friends for about fifteen years, Brandon Rogers, made the top 24. He’s a good guy that has no problem wrenching on his own car, and obviously he’s one of the best singers out there. He’s also a very smart guy who I have taught the benefits of diesel vehicles. Don’t know what else to say, but good luck to him.
To keep this at least loosely diesel related. I’m also trying to figure out if I should order some PP520 nozzles for my Jetta. It’s an automatic so I don’t want it to smoke too much, but I’ll be getting it tuned shortly after. If you know about this, is tuning enough to get rid of the smoke?
I also ordered the DIY timing belt video finally, cause I’m getting past the suggested mileage interval for changing it and that’s not something I want to mess with. I’ll still probably have someone else do it for the first time and just watch, but after that I want to be doing all the maintenance myself.
