Ford Sues International Truck and Engine Corp.

Anyone with a 6.0L Ford Powerstroke has either heard or more likely experienced the common problems associated with this engine. To those who don’t know those problems are leaky fuel injectors, oil leaks, and sticking turbocharger vanes. This is accompanied by no less than 77 Technical Service Bulletins.

Well Ford is now suing International. Ford is not only saying that International still owes them $500 million for all the problems that 12,000 Ford Powerstroke customers have reported, but also that they are being overcharged for the soon to be released 6.4L Powerstroke, “without adequate explanation or support for its actions.”

The 6.4L Powerstroke equipped trucks’ release date has not been changed, however, so anyone with one orders shouldn’t worry.
