It’s become strikingly apparent that diesel technology is coming in a big way- and will be here to stay once the market becomes just slightly more established.
Carmakers are realizing the need to adapt to and embrace new technologies available for the creation of advanced, clean diesel powerplants- which will no doubt become strategic steps toward sustained growth.
BMW is one such carmaker. After recently announcing that they would not join forces with Audi, Daimler-Benz and Jeep in carrying the BLUETEC engine designation, the German luxury carmaker has announced that 2008 will start its journey into the North American diesel power market.
