And other forms of that question was what I got all night at a party I went too.  Everyone loves the Jetta, and if they didn’t know about diesel before when you say somewhere between 40 and 50 miles per gallon people who overhear it are drawn into the conversation.  I probably got about 15 people all together asking me questions about it so of course I was more than happy to bestow the virtues of diesel.  Every now and then people would ask if it was hard to find a station.  I don’t know about everyone else but there is three stations within a mile of me and plenty easy to find elsewhere.  Not one person asked about it being loud or dirty or smoke billowing out of it.  They were all just envious of the mileage.  Not that I can blame them.
